Location: Montreal, QC - Hybrid Language: Fluent French - Mandatory Employment: Full-Time

Role Overview

We are seeking a Financial Accounting & Reporting Advisory Consultant to join a specialized advisory team in Montreal . The role will support Canadian financial institutions and public companies in analyzing and resolving complex financial accounting and reporting matters .

The ideal candidate should be interested in being part of the Montreal office team and comfortable working onsite when required .

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice on financial accounting and reporting matters.
• Conduct accounting research and prepare technical accounting memos .
• Analyze the impact of new accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support projects involving IFRS, ASPE, US GAAP, and public-sector accounting standards .
• Assist with complex transactions, corporate reorganizations, and finance transformation initiatives.
• Present accounting analyses, findings, and recommendations to client management.
• Manage multiple client engagements and deliverables in a consulting environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• CPA designation or in progress .
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, audit, or consulting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS .
• Experience with accounting research and technical memo writing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a consulting environment.
• Knowledge of ASPE, US GAAP, internal controls (CSOX/PCAOB), and risk management .

Additional Requirement

• Fluent French is mandatory.
• Candidate should be based in or able to work from the Montreal office when required.
