Senior Project Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a Bilingual Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale IT projects, coordinating teams, managing resources, and ensuring successful delivery. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder communication, and expertise in project management best practices.

Key Responsibilities

General Responsibilities

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading the end‑to‑end delivery of assigned projects. This includes planning, coordinating, and supervising activities; managing resources; monitoring progress; mitigating risks; communicating with stakeholders; and ensuring that project objectives are successfully achieved.

Specific Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the project team.
• Plan, organize, and facilitate project management meetings.
• Develop and maintain key project documentation, including:
• Detailed project plan
• Project organization manual
• Communication plan
• Risk management plan
• Project closure report
• Establish and manage project registers (risk, issues, decisions, change requests).
• Track project progress, ensuring phases and deliverables are completed on schedule, and implement corrective actions when required.
• Provide regular project status updates and communicate progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
• Produce performance indicators and dashboards for reporting purposes.
• Apply project management best practices and organizational methodologies.
• Contribute to the identification and validation of project benefits.
• Prepare documentation for complex, large‑scale mandates.
• Provide expert advisory support in project management.

Required Qualifications

Academic Background

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration, management, or a related field.

Minimum Professional Experience

• Minimum 12 years of experience in information technology.
• Minimum 5 years of experience, within the last 10 years , as a Senior Project Manager in IT.
• Participation in at least 3 mandates of 5,000 person‑days completed within the last 8 years , involving technological challenges across multiple administrative units within one or more organizations,

Professional Experience – Assets

• Senior‑level experience in strategic mandates
• Knowledge of the healthcare sector.
• Experience managing Agile projects (Scrum, Scrumban, Kanban, DAD, SAFe) or hybrid Agile/Waterfall approaches.

Certifications (Assets)

• PMI‑PMP and/or PMI‑ACP certification.
• Agile‑related certifications.
