Job Description - SAP S/4HANA HR Mini Master & CATS (Time Entry) Functional Lead
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA HR Mini Master & CATS (Time Entry) Functional Lead to lead the design, configuration, and delivery of SAP CATS Time Entry and HR Mini Master solutions within an SAP S/4HANA environment. The ideal candidate will drive standardized time capture processes, workforce master data management, and system integrations while ensuring compliance, governance, and solution quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP CATS (Cross-Application Time Sheet) and HR Mini Master solutions in SAP S/4HANA.
- Define standardized end-to-end time entry processes supporting cost allocation, project tracking, and financial reporting.
- Design and maintain lightweight HR master data structures aligned with business requirements.
- Collaborate with Finance, Project Systems, and upstream HR platforms (e.g., Workday or SAP SuccessFactors ) to design and support system integrations.
- Configure SAP CATS profiles, validations, approval workflows, and master data controls.
- Lead functional design workshops, requirements gathering, and solution documentation.
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment activities, and defect resolution.
- Ensure compliance with governance, audit, and SOX requirements for time entry, approvals, and master data management.
- Provide functional leadership, best practices, and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience implementing SAP S/4HANA CATS (Time Entry) and HR Mini Master solutions.
- Strong functional expertise in SAP Time Entry configuration, approval workflows, and workforce master data.
- Experience integrating SAP with Workday , SAP SuccessFactors , Finance, and Project Systems.
- Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and cross-functional integration.
- Experience supporting SIT, UAT, cutover, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Knowledge of governance, compliance, and SOX controls related to time management and master data.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and workshop facilitation skills.
