SAP Finance Lead
About the role
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance Lead (FICO) to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Finance solutions supporting end-to-end financial processes. The ideal candidate will act as the primary liaison between finance stakeholders and project teams, translating business requirements into scalable SAP solutions aligned with industry best practices.
This role requires strong expertise across core finance functions including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling, along with integration knowledge across related SAP modules.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end SAP Finance (FICO) solution design, configuration, implementation, and optimization activities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for finance stakeholders and business users.
- Drive delivery across key finance functions including: General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Controlling (CO)
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP Finance (FICO) implementations and support.
- Expertise in core SAP Finance modules including GL, AP, AR, AA, and CO.
- Experience leading full lifecycle SAP Finance projects.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes.
- Experience integrating SAP Finance with MM, SD, and related modules.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to lead workshops, solution discussions, and cross-functional delivery activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance transformations or migration programs.
- SAP Finance or S/4HANA certification(s).
- Exposure to global ERP rollouts or finance transformation initiatives.
- Experience mentoring teams and leading offshore/onshore coordination.
