SAP Costing Lead
About the role
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP Costing Lead to lead the implementation, optimization, and support of SAP costing and controlling processes. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in product costing, profitability analysis, and cross-functional integration across finance, manufacturing, and supply chain operations.
This role will drive accurate cost management, inventory valuation, and financial visibility while supporting enterprise transformation initiatives within SAP environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end implementation and support of SAP costing processes including: Standard costing
- Actual costing
- Work in Progress (WIP)
- Variance analysis
- Bills of Materials (BOM)
- Routing
- Cost roll-ups
- Cost component structures
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Costing and SAP Controlling (CO) processes.
- Expertise in standard costing, actual costing, WIP, settlements, and variance analysis.
- Experience with CO-PA and profitability reporting.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and inventory valuation processes.
- Experience integrating SAP CO with FI, MM, PP, and SD modules.
- Experience in full lifecycle SAP implementations and support projects.
- Strong stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling environments.
- Exposure to manufacturing or industrial sector implementations.
- SAP CO or S/4HANA certification is an asset.
- Experience supporting finance transformation or ERP modernization initiatives.
