Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Data & AI Engineer to support Employee Success initiatives within the Salesforce environment. The role focuses on Salesforce development, Data Cloud, Agentforce, AI integrations, data engineering, and MCP-based solutions .
The ideal candidate will be hands-on, able to work independently, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver end-to-end technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain solutions using Salesforce Apex, Flow, and Agentforce .
- Develop AI agent workflows, actions, and integrations .
- Work with Salesforce Data Cloud for data modeling, querying, and integration.
- Build and maintain integrations across Salesforce, Slack, APIs, and external services .
- Use Snowflake and SQL for data querying, validation, transformation, and analysis.
- Troubleshoot application, integration, data, and AI-agent issues.
- Develop unit tests and maintain appropriate Apex test coverage .
- Support code reviews, deployments, QA/UAT validation, and production releases.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and collaborate with engineering/product stakeholders.
- Document implementations and provide knowledge transfer.
- Independently own assigned features and technical issues.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong Python development experience, particularly for building MCPs .
- Experience with Python data serialization and validation packages .
- Experience with networking and transport layers in Python .
- Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud .
- Experience with Agentforce / Salesforce AI solutions .
- Salesforce Apex and Flow experience is good to have.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with Snowflake .
- REST API and enterprise integration experience.
- Experience with Git-based development and deployment .
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with engineering and business stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Slack integrations / Slack APIs .
- AI/LLM-powered applications or integrations.
- MCP or similar AI integration frameworks.
- Data engineering and data modeling concepts.
- Agile software development experience.
Ideal Candidate
A hands-on engineer experienced across Salesforce development, data engineering, AI/Agentforce, and MCP integrations , with the ability to own technical requirements from analysis through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
