About the role
Overview:
Drive governance, planning, and execution oversight for large technology programs. Ensure projects align with strategic objectives, meet regulatory requirements, and deliver on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee deployments and integration of technology infrastructures, data collection systems, and analytics platforms to support accuracy, reliability, and scalability of smart grid systems.
- Develop and manage project budgets and resource plans to deliver Technology solutions on time and within scope.
- Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning for critical infrastructures to ensure resilience.
- Integration of IoT data structures with enterprise platforms for unified operational reporting.
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of project managers, engineers, and technology professionals to ensure successful delivery.
- Supervise design and enforcement of data security and compliance policies to protect infrastructure data and customer information.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives in IoT, including smart meters, connectivity, as well as data intelligence.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors, utility partners, and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor ’ s degree in engineering, Information Technology, or related field; Master ’ s preferred.
- 15 years plus in large scales program management with matrixed global environment
- 10+ years of experience in utilities Industry, including smart grid, and IoT solutions.
- Strong knowledge of IoT technologies, data management, cybersecurity, Smart metering is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale metering deployments in a matrixed, global environment.
- Experience with integration ERP and billing platforms.
- Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution for complex technical projects.
- Familiarity with digital transformation in utilities, including automation and advanced analytics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Project oversight and stakeholder engagement.
- AMI (Advanced Metering Technology) would be a plus
