About the role

Overview:

Drive governance, planning, and execution oversight for large technology programs. Ensure projects align with strategic objectives, meet regulatory requirements, and deliver on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee deployments and integration of technology infrastructures, data collection systems, and analytics platforms to support accuracy, reliability, and scalability of smart grid systems.
  • Develop and manage project budgets and resource plans to deliver Technology solutions on time and within scope.
  • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning for critical infrastructures to ensure resilience.
  • Integration of IoT data structures with enterprise platforms for unified operational reporting.
  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of project managers, engineers, and technology professionals to ensure successful delivery.
  • Supervise design and enforcement of data security and compliance policies to protect infrastructure data and customer information.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives in IoT, including smart meters, connectivity, as well as data intelligence.
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors, utility partners, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor ’ s degree in engineering, Information Technology, or related field; Master ’ s preferred.
  • 15 years plus in large scales program management with matrixed global environment
  • 10+ years of experience in utilities Industry, including smart grid, and IoT solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of IoT technologies, data management, cybersecurity, Smart metering is a plus.
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale metering deployments in a matrixed, global environment.
  • Experience with integration ERP and billing platforms.
  • Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution for complex technical projects.
  • Familiarity with digital transformation in utilities, including automation and advanced analytics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Project oversight and stakeholder engagement.
  • AMI (Advanced Metering Technology) would be a plus
