About the role

Job Summary

We are seeking Intermediate (5-9 years) and Senior (10+ years) Network Infrastructure Specialists to design, deploy, and support secure enterprise network environments for Government of Canada projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in enterprise networking, security, WAN, SDN, VPNs, and network infrastructure design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure.
  • Support Extreme/Avaya Fabric Networks , routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN solutions.
  • Design and support Software Defined Networks (SDN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN) .
  • Implement and maintain Network Access Control (NAC) solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and deployment standards.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to ensure reliable, secure, and compliant network operations.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Intermediate: 5-9 years | Senior: 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • University degree, diploma, or equivalent IT experience.
  • Hands-on experience with: Physical network infrastructure design, deployment, and troubleshooting
  • Extreme/Avaya Fabric Networks
  • Enterprise routers, switches, and firewalls
  • VPN technologies
  • Software Defined Networking (SDN)
  • Wide Area Networks (WAN)
  • Enterprise Network Access Control (NAC)
  • Network documentation and architecture diagrams

Experience supporting secure Government or highly regulated environments is highly preferred.

Mandatory: Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance .
