Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on AppDynamics Platform Specialist to support a short-term engagement focused on improving enterprise observability and Application Performance Monitoring (APM) capabilities.
The consultant will configure and optimize AppDynamics environments, develop monitoring dashboards and alerting frameworks, integrate monitoring data with enterprise platforms, and support operational teams with performance monitoring best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and administer AppDynamics environments.
- Design and develop monitoring dashboards, reports, and visualization views.
- Create and tune alerts, thresholds, and notification workflows.
- Build integrations with enterprise tools and platforms.
- Analyze application performance data and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Recommend improvements to monitoring and observability strategies.
- Support operational teams with APM and monitoring best practices.
- Maintain configuration documentation and knowledge-transfer materials.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on AppDynamics administration and configuration experience.
- Experience with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) and observability.
- Dashboard and visualization development.
- Alerting, monitoring, and notification strategy.
- Enterprise systems integration experience.
- Strong application performance troubleshooting and analysis skills.

- Experience with OpenSearch .
