ES Technical Business Analyst
Role Summary
The ES Technical Business Analyst contractor supports enterprise security applications and infrastructure initiatives by defining requirements, documenting operational processes, coordinating workstreams, and enabling compliance, risk, and governance outcomes. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work across technical, security, operations, vendor, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and maintain functional and non‑functional requirements for Enterprise Security initiatives.
- Track requirements, decisions, actions, risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery status for governance and audit‑ready traceability.
- Produce and transition operational documentation including processes, workflows, runbooks, support models, and readiness materials.
- Coordinate workstream activities across Enterprise Security, Information Systems, and vendor teams.
- Support compliance and risk activities by documenting security requirements, control gaps, remediation actions, evidence needs, and operational impacts.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder reviews, and follow‑ups to confirm scope, resolve gaps, and drive deliverables.
- Prepare clear, concise documentation and communications for technical, business, operational, and leadership audiences.
Required Experience
- Experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Project Coordinator in large enterprise environments.
- Exposure to cybersecurity programs (IAM, PAM, vulnerability management, logging/monitoring, security operations, risk remediation).
- Hands‑on experience with enterprise security infrastructure, applications, compliance, governance, and technology delivery.
- Strong understanding of functional and non‑functional requirements (security, availability, reliability, performance, supportability, compliance).
- Experience creating requirements registers, process documentation, RAID logs, status updates, and operational readiness materials.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical content for business audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with enterprise infrastructure (servers, networks, cloud, firewalls, databases, integrations, monitoring tools, support models).
- Knowledge of Agile, waterfall, hybrid delivery, requirements lifecycle management, testing support, implementation readiness, and change management.
- Working knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, ITIL, enterprise risk management, audit support, or regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Visio, SharePoint, Teams, ServiceNow, or similar tools.
