About the role
Job Summary
We are seeking Intermediate (5-9 years) and Senior (10+ years) Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) Specialists to design, deploy, and support secure cross-domain environments for Government of Canada projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in CDS technologies, secure networking, Linux administration, system accreditation, and secure data transfer solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain Cross Domain Solutions across networks with varying security classifications.
- Support accreditation activities, documentation, testing, and compliance with ITSG-33 .
- Configure and manage CDS Guards, Data Diodes, and Content Disarm & Reconstruction (CDR) solutions.
- Develop and maintain SIEM dashboards, alerts, and security monitoring.
- Design secure data flows using Apache NiFi .
- Perform Linux server administration, security hardening, and troubleshooting.
- Support TCP/IP networking, routing, firewalls, and develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or JavaScript .
Required Skills & Experience
- Intermediate: 5-9 years | Senior: 10+ years of relevant experience.
- University degree, diploma, or equivalent IT experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with: Cross Domain Solutions (CDS)
- TCP/IP, routing, and firewalls
- CDR tools (Glasswall, Purifile)
- CDS Guards (Everfox HSG/TGS)
- Data Diodes (Blackline, Sphyrna, OWL, BAE)
- Linux administration and security hardening
- Apache NiFi
- SIEM monitoring and reporting
- Python, Bash, or JavaScript scripting
Experience supporting secure Government or highly regulated environments is highly preferred.
Mandatory: Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance .
