About the role
Role Overview
We are seeking experienced French-speaking Cognos Consultants to support an upcoming RFP engagement. This is a full-time, 6-month remote contract opportunity, offering compensation in line with market rates. The role focuses on reporting and reporting modernization initiatives for a large enterprise client.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain reports using IBM Cognos
- Lead reporting modernization initiatives, including migration and optimization of legacy reports
- Gather business requirements and translate them into reporting solutions
- Develop dashboards and analytics solutions to support business decision-making
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders in a remote delivery model
- Ensure best practices in reporting, performance optimization, and data governance
Required Skills & Experience
- 10 to 20+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Cognos
- Strong experience in enterprise reporting and reporting modernization programs
- French fluency (spoken and written) is mandatory
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have
- Power BI experience
- Banking domain experience
