Role Overview

We are seeking a Bilingual Accounts Receivable professional with experience in lease administration, tenant receivables, collections, and lease-related accounting . The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with tenants and internal stakeholders in both French and English .

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor incoming cheque and EFT payments , reconcile payment/remittance notices, and apply payments to lease invoices.
• Reconcile payments against bank activity and cash received .
• Review historical payments and identify catch-up payments required following lease amendments or new lease setup .
• Analyze and resolve excess, unapplied, and unidentified cash against outstanding receivables.
• Manage collections and recovery activities , including arrears notices, demand letters, and aging reports.
• Perform monthly invoice runs and variance analysis .
• Review chargeback invoices and update schedules in the lease administration system .
• Review rental advice notices and process adjustments to rent schedules.
• Perform lease abstraction for new leases, renewals, amendments, CPI adjustments, holdovers, and auto-renewals.
• Prepare monthly and ad hoc reports.
• Respond to tenant inquiries via email .

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in lease administration or accounts receivable .
• Knowledge of reviewing and interpreting lease terms and provisions .
• Basic bookkeeping and accounting knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with tenant collections and recovery of outstanding receivables .
• Strong reconciliation, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Fluent/native-level French and strong English communication skills .
