Role Overview
We are seeking experienced IT Health Monitoring Specialists to support enterprise server and application monitoring in secure IT environments. The ideal candidates will have strong hands-on experience with enterprise monitoring platforms, Windows/Linux systems, scripting, integrations, and monitoring solution migration.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, patch, and administer enterprise monitoring solutions, including adding managed nodes, devices, endpoints, and deploying monitors.
- Implement and support monitoring for URLs, Windows clusters, DNS, Exchange, CPU/Disk/Memory, MS SQL, NetApp ONTAP, VMware, NT services , and related infrastructure.
- Administer and integrate monitoring platforms such as Splunk, CA UIM, CA Spectrum, SolarWinds, LogPoint, and QRadar .
- Configure SNMP, import MIBs, receive SNMP traps, and integrate NetFlow data.
- Develop and maintain scripts using Perl, VB, Python, Java, or Unix Shell scripting (Bash, Bourne, C, Korn) .
- Support Windows Server and Linux environments, including package installation, scripting, and log/event analysis.
- Customize monitoring solutions within secure, air-gapped, and network-boundary environments .
- Integrate monitoring platforms with other monitoring tools and IT ticketing systems .
- Document, migrate, and upgrade monitoring solutions to new virtual machines/hosts.
- Troubleshoot monitoring issues and provide operational support to ensure system health and availability.
Required Qualifications
- University degree/diploma in IT or 10 years of progressive IT experience .
- 5-9 years for Intermediate / 10+ years for Senior candidates, with strong enterprise monitoring experience.
- Extensive experience with server and application-level monitoring and enterprise monitoring technologies.
- Strong experience with Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
- Hands-on scripting/programming experience.
- Experience working in secure, restricted, or air-gapped environments .
- Strong troubleshooting, integration, documentation, and communication skills.
