Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data & AI Engineer / Agentforce Engineer to support ongoing Employee Success initiatives. The engineer will work closely with engineering and business stakeholders to design, develop, test, and maintain data-driven and AI-powered solutions.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently, understanding business requirements, troubleshooting complex issues, and delivering end-to-end technical solutions across development, data engineering, AI/Agentforce, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain solutions using Apex, Flow, and Agentforce .
• Develop and enhance AI agent workflows, actions, and integrations .
• Work with Data Cloud for data modeling, querying, and integration.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Slack, APIs, and external services .
• Use Snowflake and SQL for data querying, validation, transformation, and analysis.
• Troubleshoot application, integration, data, and AI-agent issues across environments.
• Develop unit tests and maintain appropriate Apex test coverage.
• Support code reviews, deployment, QA/UAT validation, and production releases.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Document technical implementations and provide knowledge transfer as required.
• Independently own assigned features and technical issues from analysis through production support.

Required Skills

• Strong Python development experience, including the ability to develop MCPs .
• Experience with data serialization and validation packages in Python .
• Experience with networking and transport layers in Python .
• Experience with Data Cloud .
• Experience with Agentforce / AI solutions .
• Strong SQL skills.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake .
• Experience with REST APIs and system integrations .
• Experience with Git-based development and deployment processes.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently with client engineering and business stakeholders.

Good to Have

• Apex and Flow experience.
• Salesforce development experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Slack integrations / Slack APIs .
• Strong Python development experience.
• Experience building AI/LLM-powered applications or integrations .
• Experience with MCP or similar AI integration frameworks .
• Understanding of data engineering and data modeling concepts.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments .

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with experience across software development, data engineering, AI/Agentforce solutions, and MCP integrations .

The candidate should have experience building or supporting MCP-based services and integrating AI agents with enterprise data and systems. They should be capable of independently owning technical requirements from initial analysis through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support while collaborating directly with engineering and business stakeholders.
