iSeries Developer – ACBS

About the role
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced iSeries Developer with strong expertise in IBM i (AS/400) environments and the ACBS platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in application development, troubleshooting, database programming, and DevOps practices within enterprise financial services environments.
This role will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting applications integrated with the ACBS lending platform while collaborating with business and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot applications within IBM i (AS/400) environments supporting the ACBS platform.
- Design, develop, and enhance solutions using LANSA development tools.
- Develop and optimize database solutions using IBM i DB2, SQL, and stored procedures.
- Build and support applications using CL and Java, including development on Windows environments with deployment to IBM i platforms.
- Analyze and resolve application, integration, and performance issues.
- Design and support integrations utilizing: MQ messaging
- Web Services
- SSL Certificates
- Enterprise data transmission technologies
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM i (AS/400) programming and troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting and developing solutions for the ACBS platform (FIS).
- Expertise with LANSA development.
- Strong IBM i DB2 database programming experience including: SQL
- Stored Procedures
- CL (Control Language)
- Java
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within Capital Markets environments.
- Exposure to lending, banking, or financial services platforms.
- Experience with enterprise application modernization and integration initiatives.
- Knowledge of secure software development and deployment practices.
