Senior Databricks Consultant – Cybersecurity Data Solutions
About the role
Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Databricks Consultant to support the development of advanced data solutions focused on cybersecurity and Identity & Access Management (IAM) initiatives. The consultant will work within an Agile pod structure alongside a delivery lead, functional analyst/tester, and development team to design and implement scalable cloud-based analytics and data engineering solutions.
The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise with Databricks, modern cloud data platforms, and large-scale data pipeline development, with exposure to cybersecurity domains considered a strong asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize data engineering and analytics solutions using Databricks.
- Build scalable data pipelines using PySpark and Spark frameworks.
- Develop cloud-based data processing solutions, primarily within Azure environments.
- Support cybersecurity-focused initiatives including Identity & Access Management (IAM), cyber risk analytics, and security data processing.
- Collaborate closely with Agile pod members including delivery leads, analysts, testers, and developers.
- Participate in solution design, development, testing, deployment, and optimization activities.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure high-quality solution delivery.
- Contribute to documentation, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Senior Consultant-level experience in data engineering, analytics, or cloud data solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks (mandatory).
- Strong proficiency in:
- PySpark / Apache Spark
- Data pipeline development
- Cloud data platforms (Azure preferred)
- Experience working within Agile or pod-based delivery environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in collaborative project environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to cybersecurity domains such as:
- Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Cyber risk
- Security operations or security analytics
- Experience with cloud-native data architecture and large-scale data processing.
- French language proficiency strongly preferred.
