Program Director – Data & Analytics (French)
About the role
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Program Director - Data & Analytics to provide strategic leadership across a portfolio of Data & Analytics initiatives. This role is responsible for aligning multiple project workstreams, driving business value, overseeing program governance, and serving as the primary advisor to executive leadership. The ideal candidate will have extensive program management experience, strong data governance knowledge, and fluent business French .
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and align multiple Data & Analytics projects under a unified strategic roadmap.
- Oversee program governance, including budgets, risks, dependencies, and business benefits.
- Mentor Project Managers and Workstream Leads, ensuring consistent delivery methodologies and governance.
- Serve as the primary liaison to executive leadership, steering committees, and governance boards.
- Drive organizational change and stakeholder engagement across Business, IT, Data, Risk, Compliance, Security, and Operations.
- Champion data governance, MDM, and enterprise information management initiatives.
- Resolve strategic issues, manage competing priorities, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Strengthen PMO practices, governance frameworks, and program management maturity.
Required Skills & Experience
- 15+ years of Project/Program Management experience, including leadership at the Program or Portfolio Director level.
- Strong experience managing enterprise-scale Data & Analytics transformation programs.
- Expertise in: Portfolio & Program Management
- Data Governance & Master Data Management (MDM)
- Unified Customer View architecture
- Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall delivery methodologies
- PMO governance and benefits realization
- Budget, forecasting, risk, and dependency management
Experience with Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence, Power BI , or similar tools.
Knowledge of enterprise risk management, data privacy, and information security.
Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Experience in highly regulated, matrixed environments (financial services preferred).
Fluent business French is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or equivalent certification.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Project Management, or related field; MBA or Master's degree is an asset.
