About the role
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced iSeries Developer (ACBS) with strong programming and troubleshooting expertise within the IBMi (AS/400) environment . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the ACBS platform (FIS) and LANSA development , along with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Description
- Strong IBMi (AS/400) environment experience in programming and troubleshooting especially for ACBS platform (vendor product from FIS) and LANSA development
- Experience with IBMi DB2 database programming (SQL, Stored Procedures)
- Experience developing in CL and Java (development on windows with deployment to the IBMi)
- Experience building DevOps pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins, Nexus, etc.)
- Self-motivated - driven to get results, takes initiative and needs minimum oversight.
- Exposure to transmission technologies such as MQ, SSL Certificates and Web Services
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Capital Markets experience is a strong plus
