Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Finance Transformation Consultant to help clients modernize their finance processes, operating models, and technology solutions . The role will work closely with Finance leadership to optimize operations, improve performance, and deliver large-scale transformation initiatives.
The successful candidate should be interested in being part of the Montreal office team and comfortable working onsite when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Finance transformation projects across clients and industries.
- Assess and optimize financial processes including financial close, consolidation, budgeting, and management reporting .
- Facilitate workshops to document and analyze key finance processes.
- Develop strategic recommendations to improve operational efficiency and financial performance.
- Support the selection and implementation of finance technology solutions .
- Perform financial analysis, financial modeling, and profitability assessments.
- Develop and present executive-level deliverables and recommendations.
- Advise clients on financial management, governance, and organizational transformation best practices.
- Contribute to service offering development and business development activities.
Required Skills & Experience
- CPA designation or in progress .
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in consulting, corporate finance, or finance transformation.
- Proven experience in finance process improvement and transformation .
- Strong understanding of internal controls, risk management, and IFRS and/or ASPE .
- Experience with budgeting, financial statements, financial performance management, and financial modeling.
- Ability to translate business needs into practical, strategic solutions.
- Excellent communication, workshop facilitation, and executive presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and work with executive-level stakeholders.
- French and English bilingualism strongly preferred.
